Credit Counselling Services of Alberta (CCSA) is a not-for-profit organization that is community-based and governed by a volunteer board of directors.
CCSA teaches Albertans how to budget, get out of debt, use credit wisely, and get the most from their money. Our education programs cover such topics as:
* Money management and budgeting (everything up to, but not including, investments)
* Debt repayment strategies
* Credit — understanding it, using it, and rebuilding a positive credit rating
Debt-Counselling
For those who need it, CCSA offers a variety of unbiased debt-counselling services and alternatives to help Albertans get their debts under control.
Our counsellors are very well-versed in family financial management and consumer debt handling strategies. They work with you to develop the best solution for your needs.
Debt Repayment Programs
CCSA is also the exclusive provider of the Orderly Payment of Debts (OPD) program in Alberta.
